Harley Settles In

Harley has been continuing to settle in to our household.  He is being very good about about sleeping all night in his crate without crying.  He is doing well on walks and has almost mastered not pulling at all.  Today he mastered "down" and "shake" in 5 minutes - he is so smart!  He has a lot of fun playing in the yard and is always trying to get Windsor to play with him.  Harley enjoys chasing toys, but isn't big on bringing them back to you.  He prefers to place them in a pile on the back step so we make sure to bring them in when we go inside.

This morning Harley decided to snuggle into bed with Windsor.  It was so cute!

Harley Loves Walks

Harley is becoming a really good walker.  He's learning not to pull, to keep going when I say "let's go" and to watch for a change in direction when I say "watch me."  He's a smart boy and loves going on little adventures.  He has also nearly mastered "sit" and is learning that "go lay down" means find your bed and lay down.

He's been having a lot of fun playing in the yard with our greyhound, Windsor and he has become a collector of toys (especially Windsor's toys!)

Here's a fun video of Harley playing with Windsor.

Harley playing in the yard

Today was a beautiful summer day, and Harley had a great time playing in the yard.  Here are a couple videos that capture his loving, happy personality!

Meet Harley

We picked up Harley yesterday afternoon, and he was great in the car.  He just settled right in on the seat and stayed there until we got home.  He adjusted to our house right away!   He and our greyhound have had lots of fun playing in the yard together.  We crated him for bed last night and he was quiet all night.  He is the sweetest boy who just wants to be petted and loved.  He has met our cats, and while they are very scared of him, he does not seem very interested in them.  Harley is such a sweet boy, who would love to be on your lap or by your side all the time.

Harley seems to be really smart.  He learned very quickly to keep all four feet on the floor to get petted, to lay on his bed next to the couch, and the potty routine.  He knows his name, and comes right away when called (inside and out).  We're working on getting him to learn sit and down.  He has really enjoyed playing with his toys.  He is definitely potty trained, and has not had any accidents or tried to mark anything in our house.
